Saturday

the bookworm side of me

"A good book should leave you... slightly exhausted at the end.  You live several lives while reading it."
-William Styron, interview, Writers at Work, 1958

Thank God it's weekend! Finally, I can post this! It's been 3 weeks since the last time I opened my blog. I've been so busy with my school stuffs these days. But I'm happy now because it's December which means holiday is in front of my eyes :D

Tuesday

sparkly in gold

"The most important thing to remember is that you can wear all the greatest clothes and all the greatest shoes, but you’ve got to have a good spirit on the inside. That’s what’s really going to make you look like you’re ready to rock the world.”
—Alicia Keys

They say gold is the color of success, achievement and triumph. Associated with abundance and prosperity, luxury and quality, prestige and sophistication value and elegance. In my opinion, gold really make a great touch to an outfit. Just like my gold dress. Oh, have I told you guys that I got it for free? Yes, I won it several months ago from a video competition. I love the gold color of my dress and I love how the color looks sparkly. But unfortunately, in these photos it doesn't look too sparkly :(

Thursday

early birds

"Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening." -Coco Chanel

Rise and shine, early birds!
I just woke up and decided to post these photos. It was taken like two months ago when I was on my vacation.  I was wearing my super comfy dress which has birds-with-hats pattern on it. Isn't it cute? And do you like the view? Some of these photos were taken at the poolside of the hotel and some at the executive lounge bar. And did I mention before that this lounge bar has a really cool view?  As you can see in some of these photos.. from the glass window of the lounge bar, you can see like 'the whole city' with all the buildings, the streets... Beautiful, isn't it?

Have a great day xoxo

Saturday

the vintage era

"I think fashion is a lot of fun. I love clothes. More than fashion or brand labels, I love design. I love the thought that people put into clothes. I love when clothes make cultural statements and I think personal style is really cool. I also freely recognize that fashion should be a hobby."
-Anne Hathaway

Sunday

bonjour to the beautiful view

"When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive - to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love."

Yeah, I woke up too early for a holiday. It was around 6 a.m. But I just couldn't deny the the beautiful view that I saw from the window of my room. So I went to the pool. I was happy because I'm the only person at the pool haha feels like I have my own private pool. The weather was cold that morning. I was kinda freezing. Anyway sitting there and watching the sun rises in the morning is just so 'heaven'.

Friday

afternoon walk

"Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring--it was peace."

- Milan Kundera

What's your favorite thing to do in the afternoon? If you ask me, I like to go on an afternoon walk with Delta (my dog) or just sitting on the balcony with my laptop and drinking cold beverages. And sometimes.. enjoying the sunset.
My green blouse that I wore in these photos is from my sister's clothing shop "Fashion Gallery". And the pink clutch..it's one of my sister's old stuffs. Glad I found it. Oh, and do you like my new shorts? Cause I'm in love with it!

Saturday

mini vacation day 1 : basic, classic, and legendary

Doesn't this crop top tee remind you of The Beatles and all of their legendary songs? For me, it really "brings me back" to The Beatles era.

"Shoes transform your body language and attitude. They lift you physically and emotionally.”
—Christian Louboutin

I wore this on the first day of my mini vacation. I paired my Beatles crop top tee with my black skinny jeans. Such a simple and comfortable outfit for a vacation. I put on my black platform boots to give a little bit of "classy" touch to my look.
